ISAR Turkey and TR Kandıra Municipality Disaster Prepared Kandıra Project
At the meeting held with Kandıra Municipality, it was decided to raise awareness by ISAR Turkey teams opening stands in areas where citizens are concentrated in Kandıra district on certain days of the week.
6 Şubat Kahramanmaraş depremleri sonrasında, I.S.A.R Türkiye ve I.S.A.R Almanya, acil ihtiyaçları karşılamak adına bölgede temel sağlık hizmetleri sunmaktadır. Bu çerçevede, psikososyal destek programlarıyla depremzedelerin duygusal iyilik hallerine katkı sağlanmaktadır.
I.S.A.R Türkiye Başkanı Umut YOLDADURMAZ ve beraberindeki heyet, bölgede beş ayrı çadır kentte kurulan su arıtma sistemlerini denetleyerek, su temini ve hijyen konusunda destek verdikleri projelerin etkisini değerlendirdi.
I.S.A.R Türkiye ve I.S.A.R Almanya, sadece acil durum müdahaleleriyle değil, aynı zamanda uzun vadeli rehabilitasyon projeleriyle bölgenin iyileşmesine katkıda bulunmayı hedeflemektedir. Bu zorlu süreçte sağlanan yardım, depremzedelerin hayatlarına umut ve destek sunmaya devam ediyor.

Bu özel etkinlikte, ISAR Türkiye'nin tüm ekipleri, kentsel arama kurtarma operasyonlarında kritik becerilerini ve işbirliğini geliştirmek amacıyla bir araya geldi. Ekip üyeleri, deprem ve doğal afetler gibi olağanüstü durumlarla başa çıkmak için gereken teknik bilgi ve deneyimi elde etmek için zorlu senaryolar üzerinde çalıştı.

The ISAR International Search and Rescue team took part in the earthquake drill held simultaneously in Turkey on 13.11.2022.
ISAR Turkey teams, raising awareness of the society at the stands set up on the day of the exercise and explaining what needs to be done during the exercise, also gave guidance to the enterprises during the exercise.

ISAR Turkey Teams Ended 2022 KOSKEM Operations.
The ISAR International Search and Rescue Team ended the operations, which it carried out jointly with Kocaeli Metropolitan Fire Brigade, Ambulance Unit, Akut, Anda, Mak and Yüdak teams, to respond to drowning cases on the Kocaeli Beaches, with the end of the 2022 summer season.
During the 2022 summer season, ISAR Turkey teams responded to 205 drowning cases and there were no fatal drowning cases during their duties.

17 August Gölcük Earthquake Martyrs' Commemoration and Earthquake Awareness Work
Participation in the commemoration events held in Gölcük in memory of those who lost their lives in the Gölcük Earthquake, which took place on August 17, 1999, in which 18,373 people lost their lives and 48,978 people were injured, according to official records.
Citizens were also informed about disasters at the ISAR Turkey Stand, which was visited by our Minister of Interior Süleyman SOYLU, AFAD President Yunus SEZER, AFAD Department Heads and deputies.

Kocaeli University Blue Sharing Panel Search and Rescue Session
In the Blue Sharing Panel organized by Kocaeli University Underwater Sports Community (KOUSAT) since 1997, a Search and Rescue session was held for the first time this year.
After the session with the participation of speakers from AFAD, Kocaeli Fire Brigade, ISAR Germany, IHH Search and Rescue, Life Search and Rescue and ISAR Turkey I.SAR Turkey President Umut YOLDADURMAZ_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58 As the Chairman of the Session, he presented plaques of appreciation to the participants.

ISAR Turkey Team Searching in Nature Recovery Entry-Level Training
ISAR International Search and Rescue Team completed the nature search and rescue entry level training in Gebze Ballı Kayalar Canyon on 7-8 May.
Those who passed the written and practical exam after the training were entitled to attend the next level training. After the training they received, the trainees answered questions about 12 different topics and carried out applications.

Kocaeli Coasts Water Accidents Prevention Center (KOSKEM) 2022 Season
KOSKEM Teams, of which ISAR Turkey Team is the support solution partner, had completed their preparations for the new sea season, which will start on Wednesday, June 15, weeks ago. ISAR teams, affiliated to Kocaeli Coasts Water Accidents Prevention Center (KOSKEM) on the Black Sea and Izmit Gulf coasts and will serve citizens at 12 beaches this year, came together with other participants, 182 personnel, NGO participants and volunteer lifeguards at the season opening ceremony.
During the 2022 season, 24 Fire Brigade Departments, 12 Health and Social Affairs Department Ambulance Units, 25 ISAR International Search and Rescue personnel, 18 Youth and Sports Services Department personnel and 25 Volunteer Firefighters, 18 AKUT, 20 Neighborhood Disaster Volunteers, 12 Yeditepe University 182 personnel, including Search and Rescue in Natural Disasters, 22 ANDA Association, 10 KYK personnel, will be on duty.

Our ISAR Turkey Lifeguard Team Prepares for Summer
Our ISAR International Search and Rescue Lifeguard Team has been continuing their training since November 2021 in order to intervene in drowning cases within the scope of the KOSKEM Project, which we have become a solution partner.
Our teams will be ready so that your holiday will not turn into a nightmare during the beach season, which will open on June 15, 2022.

After 12 hours of theoretical training for the volunteers of the ISAR International Search and Rescue Team, field training began.

A Certificate of Appreciation Was Given to Our Team After the Flood
After the heavy rains that occurred in Kastamonu on August 11, and the flood that occurred as a result of the overflow of the Ezine Stream, Bozkurt and Abana Districts were severely damaged and many lives were lost.
After the notification Kastamonu'ya our team received the thank you certificates prepared by the Ministry of Internal Affairs with the program held in the Governorship of TR.

Bitlis Disaster and Emergency Provincial Directorate Visit from ISAR Turkey
ISAR International Search and Rescue Team visited the provinces of Muş, Bitlis and Van as part of the disaster risk assessment in the Eastern Anatolia Region and the regional teams.
On the last day of the program, they visited the Bitlis Disaster and Emergency (AFAD) Provincial Directorate. Our team, which consulted with AFAD Provincial Director Erdal TUNÇTAN, thanked our provincial director and his staff and left the region.
